Job description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer with a focus on backend development to design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter. The role focuses on delivering performant, secure, and scalable client experiences that integrate with microservices-based backends (Golang) and cloud infrastructure on Azure. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, product, and QA to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure reliability across mobile platforms., * Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter following best practices for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

  • Integrate mobile apps with backend microservices in Golang and event-driven systems (NATS but Kafka/RabbitMQ ok) and collaborate with Principal Engineer to define APIs and data contracts.
  • Implement secure and reliable network communication using REST and real-time channels (WebSockets, Firebase where applicable).
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions to ensure mobile requirements are represented in microservices and Azure deployments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds, automated testing, and release processes to App Store and internal distribution.
  • Work to create and run automated and manual tests; drive improvements in code quality through code reviews, unit and integration testing.
  • Monitor mobile app performance, crash analytics, and user metrics; triage, debug, and resolve production issues.
  • Ensure security, privacy, and compliance requirements are met (including HIPAA considerations when applicable).
  • Share knowledge across the team and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and documentation.

Requirements

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Proven experience developing mobile applications with Flutter

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, and experience integrating mobile apps with cloud-hosted services.
  • Hands-on experience working with microservices architectures; familiarity with Golang-based services.
  • Experience integrating with event-driven systems and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ/NATS).
  • Solid knowledge of networking patterns for mobile apps, including REST APIs and real-time protocols (WebSockets) preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering production-grade apps to the App Store and supporting CI/CD workflows preferred.
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills for mobile platforms preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
