Job description
As an IT Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for responding to break/fix service tickets across the Augusta, Maine area. You will travel to various government office locations, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, providing top-notch customer service, and working independently in the field., * Diagnose and repair a wide range of IT equipment, including computers, printers, cameras, biometric scanners, and signature pads.
- Travel to assigned government office locations across your assigned area and resolve service tickets promptly and professionally.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on hardware and software issues in Windows 10 environments.
- Complete and maintain accurate service records, inventory reports, and ticket documentation.
- Ensure all service requests are completed within the specified SLA timeframes.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professional communication with clients and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Manage and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment, tools, and supplies.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Minimum 2-3 years' experience in IT field service, with hands-on experience responding to break/fix service tickets.
- Strong experience with IT hardware, including PCs, printers, cameras, biometric devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Proficiency in Windows 10 troubleshooting and basic system maintenance.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level IT systems and environments.
- Knowledge of additional technical areas such as Active Directory, Hard Drive Imaging, and Network Management is a plus.
- A+ Certification (or equivalent) required.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on communication and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to carry and transport equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable using and transporting tools and equipment.
- Ability to submit detailed inventories and reports accurately and on time.
