Staff Software Engineer (Medical Devices)

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to support the design, development, and verification of software for medical device products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB, along with experience in software development within regulated environments. This role requires technical leadership, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle., * Design, develop, modify, evaluate, and verify software components for medical devices.

• Translate user needs into technical requirements, specifications, and software designs.
• Conduct advanced prototyping, testing, and software analysis.
• Independently solve complex technical challenges and evaluate solutions against system requirements.
• Develop software systems based on defined architecture and requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and apply software design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design documents, architecture specifications, test plans, and defect reports.
• Estimate development effort and support project planning activities.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management teams to ensure project success.
• Support product development activities from concept through commercialization and product release.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, systems, and technologies.

Do you have experience in Test scanning software?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong programming experience in:

• MATLAB
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience using integrated development environments (IDEs).
• Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis tools, memory management, code coverage tools, and software debugging techniques.
• Experience creating software development estimates and supporting project planning.
• Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and traceability tools.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards applicable to software development in regulated industries., * Experience developing software for medical devices or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with software verification and validation activities.
• Knowledge of FDA-regulated product development environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
