Job description
We are looking for an experienced Backend Java Developer to join our team and build robust, scalable backend services for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and streaming technologies like Kafka, along with hands-on experience in Azure Cloud and modern database systems., Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
Implement event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming using Apache Kafka.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including Azure SQL and Cosmos DB, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database interactions.
Deploy and manage applications in Azure Cloud environments, leveraging WCNP (Windows Container Networking Platform) for containerized workloads.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
Ensure application security, reliability, and high availability in cloud environments.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning to maintain high-quality standards.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development and cloud computing.
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and other Spring frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for streaming and event-driven architectures.
Solid understanding of Azure SQL and Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL databases.
Working knowledge of SQL fundamentals and query optimization.
Experience deploying and managing applications in Azure Cloud environments.
Familiarity with containerization and networking concepts (WCNP).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Exposure to monitoring tools and performance tuning in cloud environments.
