Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Systems and Data Analyst to join our team.

Day in the life of a People Systems and Data Analyst

In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining, developing and optimising our HR systems, data and reporting capabilities.

You'll support the effective operation of our People services by ensuring data is accurate, accessible and insightful, enabling better decision-making across the organisation.

You will:

  • Manage and maintain HR systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Develop and produce reports and dashboards to support informed decision-making
  • Support system administration, configuration and continuous improvement activities
  • Carry out data quality checks and implement improvements to data standards
  • Respond to data and reporting requests accurately and within agreed deadlines
  • Support the ongoing development of HR technology, automation and reporting tools

Requirements

Do you have experience in Time management?, * Experience working with HR systems, databases or information management tools in an HR environment

  • Proven experience producing reports and analysing people data to support decision-making
  • Experience maintaining high data quality standards and conducting data validation checks
  • Experience supporting system administration or configuration
  • Ability to manage and respond to data requests accurately and within deadlines
  • Experience working as part of a team in a people-focused environment
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR when handling sensitive data
  • Level 4 (or above) qualification in Data Analytics

Desirable / additional skills

  • Intermediate Power BI skills or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, * Excellent communication skills, able to present data clearly to different audiences
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and commitment to data integrity
  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
  • Discreet, professional and able to handle sensitive information appropriately
  • A collaborative team player with a commitment to continuous improvement and great service delivery
