Are you an experienced IT Support Technician looking for a role where you can make a real impact? At ST&R, we're looking for a hands-on IT professional to support our growing business and help ensure our technology infrastructure remains secure, reliable, and efficient.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys working across a broad range of technologies. From Microsoft 365 administration and virtualisation to networking, security, and end-user support, you'll play a key role in ensuring our colleagues have the tools and support they need to perform at their best.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to business-wide projects, drive continuous improvements, and help shape the technology that supports our growing organisation., * Supporting and administering Microsoft 365, including user management, permissions, and security policies
- Managing Active Directory accounts and maintaining user access controls
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues
- Supporting Windows desktops, laptops, and end-user devices
- Monitoring and maintaining VMware ESXi virtualisation environments
- Assisting with network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Supporting system upgrades, maintenance projects, and continuous improvements
- Helping to maintain security best practices and support the business's cyber security objectives
- Delivering excellent customer service and technical support to colleagues across the business
Requirements
Do you have experience in IT support?, * Previous experience in an IT Support Technician or similar IT support role
- Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience managing users, permissions, and security policies
- Good knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft technologies
- Experience supporting Windows PCs, laptops, and associated hardware
- A solid understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure
- Experience working with VMware ESXi virtualisation environments
- Experience working with firewalls and advanced networking technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- The ability to prioritise workload and remain calm under pressure
Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting IT systems within a call centre environment
- Knowledge of VoIP or contact centre telephony platforms
- Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices, * IT support: 1 year (required)
