Job description

  • Lead delivery of data-driven projects (Databricks-based environments)
  • Champion Agile and Lean practices, promoting continuous improvement and Inspect & Adapt principles
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and issues to maintain delivery momentum
  • Ensure appropriate governance, quality management, and value for money
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, reporting clearly and setting expectations
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, QA, BA, Architecture, Platform, and supplier teams
  • Guide teams through delivery lifecycle phases and support process optimisation
  • Contribute to the Delivery Management Community of Practice

Requirements

Do you have experience in DevOps?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Must Have Experience: Management of several Data projects, including Databricks, etc., We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with a strong Data focus (Databricks) to lead delivery within a strategic change programme.

This role prioritises Agile delivery excellence and hands-on experience managing data platforms (especially Databricks). You will drive predictable, high-quality delivery while enabling cross-functional teams to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the UK public sector/government digital standards is desirable., * Strong Agile delivery experience

  • Proven experience managing multiple Data projects (incl. Databricks or similar data platforms)
  • Experience delivering data or digital products in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
  • Experience managing budgets, suppliers, risks, and dependencies
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and build high-performing teams

Desirable:

  • Experience in the UK public sector or working with government digital standards
  • Familiarity with government digital standards (GDS)
  • Exposure to data platforms, analytics environments or data architecture
  • Familiarity with UCD, DevOps, or cloud/infrastructure teams
