Job description
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for monitoring quality and food safety programs throughout the production process, conducting product testing, reviewing production documentation, and supporting compliance with company and regulatory standards., Quality & Food Safety Oversight
- Monitor compliance with all QA and food safety programs during production
- Conduct routine plant inspections, including:
- Pest control program verification
- Allergen storage compliance
- Facility cleanliness reviews
- Other food safety program checks as required
Production Documentation Review
- Verify equipment setup documentation
- Confirm date codes and label accuracy
- Test cleaning solution concentrations
- Verify product weights
- Review production records at the end of each run
- Verify finished goods counts and remaining inventory
Product Testing
Candidates must be willing to taste-test all products.
Testing responsibilities include:
- pH testing
- Bostwick consistency testing
- Color verification using visual color charts
- Taste evaluation of every batch
- Titratable acidity testing
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete filing of daily, weekly, and monthly QA documentation
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with vendor approval documentation and communication
- Communicate professionally and constructively with employees, supervisors, and vendors

Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Vendor communication?, We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure the safety, quality, and consistency of our condiment products. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment and have a passion for food quality and food safety, we'd love to hear from you., * Preferred: 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Process Control
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Valid driver's license required
- Comfortable with data entry and production software
Math Skills
- Ability to work with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately
Communication
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to provide clear verbal instructions and communicate effectively with team members and vendors
