Job description

The Information Systems Support Specialist supports Pasadena Federal Credit Union's technology environment by providing responsive, professional Help Desk support to branch and headquarters employees. This role helps ensure reliable operation of workstations, peripherals, applications, and user access so employees can deliver secure, efficient, and member-focused service. The position requires sound judgment, confidentiality, attention to detail, and a service mindset consistent with PFCU's commitment to engage, educate, and inspire the communities we serve.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Provide timely, courteous, and solutions-oriented Help Desk support to branch and headquarters staff.

· Troubleshoot, maintain, and support branch technology, including teller workstations, cash recyclers, printers, scanners, phones, and network-connected devices.

· Support headquarters technology, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, conference room equipment, and common business applications.

· Assist employees with credit union systems and financial service applications, escalating complex issues as appropriate.

· Install, configure, update, and replace approved hardware and software in accordance with IT standards, internal controls, and security requirements.

· Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and role changes by assisting with equipment setup, system access, and account provisioning or deactivation.

· Monitor, prioritize, and document support tickets, including issue details, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and procedural updates.

· Protect confidential member, employee, and credit union information by following data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including applicable GLBA safeguards.

· Coordinate with senior IT staff, vendors, and business partners to resolve escalated issues and support system reliability.

· Participate in patching, maintenance, inventory tracking, equipment deployment, and other IT projects as assigned.

· Perform other related duties as assigned, consistent with the purpose of the position., · This is an on-site position supporting headquarters and branch operations in a professional office and financial services environment.

· The role involves frequent interaction with employees, vendors, and business partners in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.

· Duties may require sitting, standing, walking, using a computer, communicating by phone or in person, reaching, bending, and occasionally lifting, carrying, or moving standard office technology equipment up to 25 pounds. These physical demands are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this position. Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, · Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.

· One to three years of Help Desk, desktop support, or related IT support experience.

· Working knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, common productivity tools, user account administration, and ticketing systems.

· Basic understanding of networking concepts, printers, connectivity troubleshooting, and peripheral support.

· Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial, employee, and member information with discretion.

· Ability to work on-site during scheduled business hours and support business needs across PFCU locations as assigned. If travel between locations is required, the employee must be able to travel reliably in accordance with applicable law and PFCU policy.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting technology in a financial institution, credit union, or other regulated environment.

· Familiarity with core banking systems, online banking tools, or financial service platforms.

· Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Azure, Active Directory, or similar administration tools.

· CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, or related technical certification., * IT support: 1 year (Required)
