Job description

We're seeking a certified Epic Operational Database Administrator to support and maintain Epic's operational database environments in a large healthcare setting. This role will focus on InterSystems IRIS administration, Linux support, performance monitoring, disaster recovery, security patching, backups/restores, and Epic infrastructure support across production and non-production environments.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System tuning?, * Current Epic ODBA Certification

  • Experience administering InterSystems IRIS/Caché
  • Strong Linux/UNIX administration experience
  • Database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Backup/recovery and disaster recovery support
  • Performance tuning, capacity planning, and system maintenance
  • Experience supporting Epic production environments

Preferred:

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • System Pulse and System Performance Analytics
  • Scripting/automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python)

This is an excellent opportunity for an Epic infrastructure professional who enjoys working on the platform, database, and systems side of Epic rather than application support. Must be comfortable participating in an on-call rotation supporting a 24/7 healthcare environment.
