Job description
- Analyze business processes and system functionality to gather, document, and validate requirements.
- Work with business users and stakeholders to identify needs, evaluate solutions, and assess business impact.
- Create and maintain requirements, process flows, functional specifications, test plans, and related documentation.
- Participate in the analysis, design, testing, implementation, and support of system enhancements and projects.
- Collaborate with developers, business users, and vendors to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Support Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist with system testing, deployments, issue resolution, and post-implementation support.
- Support project coordination activities including task tracking, issue management, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain project and system documentation while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Additional appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: 2 or more years of experience in systems analysis, application support, software development support, or a related technical role. Experience with .NET applications and web/client-server applications, as well as experience supporting insurance systems or business applications, preferred. Experience with SQL Server required.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Understanding of relational databases, system integrations, and application support concepts.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to support testing, deployments, and project delivery activities.
- Knowledge of automobile insurance policy processing preferred.
- Mathematics background a plus.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $103,800 / $77,500 - $123,700 / $84,500 - $134,900 Annual. Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
