Patient Service Front Desk Coordinator- Part time position. Working days are the first, third, and fifth Monday, and every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Ranging from 24 -32 hours each week. Pay period is for a total of 56 hours.

In addition to providing exceptional rheumatology care, our practice is expanding its focus on Lifestyle Medicine, Wellness, and Weight Management, helping patients improve their overall health through evidence-based interventions., The Patient Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors.
This individual will provide excellent customer service while supporting front office operations in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and inquiries
Verify insurance eligibility and demographic information
Collect co-pays, balances, and required paperwork
Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
Assist with patient communications regarding lifestyle medicine, wellness, and weight
management programs
Support office operations and maintain a positive patient experience
Requirements
Do you have experience in Phone etiquette?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Previous medical office, receptionist, or customer service experience REQUIRED
Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask in a busy healthcare environment
Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records familiar with Eclinical Works,
Availity.
Positive attitude and passion for helping patients improve their health
