Data Modeler

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Modeler to join our innovative data team. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into efficient data models.
• Design logical and physical database schemas using industry-standard modeling techniques.
• Develop and implement data integration solutions utilizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as SSIS and Talend.
• Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization strategies.
• Maintain and administer databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL, ensuring high availability and security.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, PL/SQL scripts, and shell scripts for automation and data processing tasks.
• Conduct analysis of linked data sources and implement best practices for managing linked data structures in distributed environments.
• Perform database administration tasks including backups, recovery, user access management, and security compliance on Linux systems.
• Engage in scripting using Bash (Unix shell) for automation of routine tasks and system integrations.
• Support database design efforts for new projects by creating detailed documentation and adhering to best practices in data architecture. Skills

Do you have experience in UNIX?, * Extensive experience with SQL-based databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Strong proficiency in scripting languages including Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, Java, and other relevant tools.
• Deep understanding of ETL processes utilizing SSIS or Talend for efficient data transformation workflows.
• Expertise in performance tuning techniques to enhance database responsiveness and scalability.
• Knowledge of linked data concepts and the ability to integrate disparate data sources effectively.
• Proven skills in database design, modeling, administration, and security management on Linux platforms.
• Familiarity with analysis skills to interpret complex datasets for strategic insights.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues promptly while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality in data handling.
