Job description
The Management Systems Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's multi-standard management systems. This role ensures that the company meets rigorous aerospace (AS9120), defense (CMMC), counterfeit mitigation (AS6174), FOD (AS9146) and ITAR requirements, safeguarding both operational integrity and eligibility for high-level contracts.
Responsibilities/Duties:

System Integration: Design and maintain management systems that satisfies the requirements of AS9120 (Aerospace distribution), CMMC (Cybersecurity), AS9146 (Foreign Object Debris) and AS6174 (Counterfeit Parts Prevention). Additional duties may include ISO9001/14001 administration, DOT program implementation and sustainability work.

Audit Management: Lead internal audit programs and act as the primary liaison for third-party registrars and government auditors.

Documentation Control: Manage the lifecycle of the management systems documentation, ensuring all procedures, work instructions, and records are accurate and compliant.

Training & Culture: Conduct employee training sessions to ensure organizational awareness of compliance obligations and the importance of the programs.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Training & development?, * Aerospace Standards: Understanding of AS9120 (Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Distributors) and its relationship with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Cybersecurity Frameworks: Basic understanding of CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) Level 2 requirements and NIST SP 800-171 controls and how they apply to Chemico's business.

Counterfeit Mitigation: Understanding of AS6174 standards regarding the acquisition, traceable documentation, and disposal of non-conforming or suspect materiel.

Foreign Object Debris: Working knowledge of AS9146 (FOD Standard) and how it is applied to Chemico's warehousing operations.

Regulatory Landscape: Familiarity with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) as they pertain to data and product handling.

Auditing: Proficiency in conducting gap analyses and internal audits; ability to develop and track Corrective Action Plans.

Technical Writing: Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Data Analysis: Skill in utilizing Quality Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive process improvement.

Project Management: Capability to manage long-term implementation timelines for new certifications without disrupting daily operations.

- Ability to create spreadsheets/documents/graphs/compose reports and presentations.
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office ability
- Experience managing complex projects with varying timeframes
- Comfort communicating easily and effectively via telephone, e-mail and Teams
- Skill to forge intercompany relationships over long distances
- Overnight travel is required, up to 10% of time.
- Advanced level of organizational ability
- College degree preferred or acceptable work certifications and experience
