Requirements

  • 7+ years of database design and administration experience
  • 7+ years of Oracle DBA experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle technologies including, but not limited to, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and performance tuning and UNIX technologies such as Linux or AIX
  • 7+ years of experience in database design and administration, * Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of performance tuning experience
  • RAC Administration experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of database administration, design, deployment, configuration, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge and understanding of database backups and recovery
  • Knowledge and understanding of database capacity and performance analysis
  • Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
  • 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following programming languages Python, Perl, or KornShell (KSH)
  • 5+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
  • Experience with one or a combination of the following databases MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server with specific experience supporting encryption technology and encryption key management
