Job description
Index Analytics is seeking a Technical Analyst II to support the IDR process. The Analyst will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to review medical and billing documentation and collect information from disputing parties to assist in the resolution of disputes. Responsibilities
- Closely review disputes in the Federal IDR Portal.
- Leverage previous experience in medical record review/billing to perform case file reviews using multiple government and IDRE systems and databases.
- Coordinate within a team of Analysts to meet productivity goals for triaging and resolving open disputes.
- Based on case review provide an assessment to inform decisions regarding eligibility and other dispute related determinations
- Identify gaps in documentation/materials needed for expeditious case resolution.
- Develop overall recommendations for enhancements to business processes, workflows, case intake/management.
- Research and develop meaningful guidance in the form of training materials, job aids, and operational documents.
- Performs data collection from multiple sources to include the web, client databases, and other resources.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in case management, benefits or eligibility processing, health program operations, or similar high-volume, process-driven environments; bachelor's degree preferred but not required, with relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage moderate to high case volumes
- Experience with case management systems, CRM platforms, or similar data tools
- Ability to follow structured workflows while exercising sound judgment
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S. with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred
- Experience supporting federal or state health programs (e.g., CMS, Medicaid, Medicare)
- Familiarity with HIPAA and federal data handling requirements
- Experience working in regulated, audit-driven environments
