BI & Analytics Developer

This is a mid-level position responsible for developing, testing, and implementing reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical applications., * Become an expert with Meridian data, including claims, memberships, provider, contracts, networks, pharmacy, and clinical subject areas

• Participates in meetings with business subject matter experts, decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define goals and requirements for reports, dashboards, and analytics

• Designs, develops, and maintains reports, dashboards, and analytical applications using best practice design patterns

• Engages with data architects and ETL developers to assist with designing optimal data structures to support BI, reporting, dashboards and analytical datasets

• Collaborates with source system developers to identify relevant data to be included in the warehouse and in the big data environment

• Assists junior level resources so that they learn the craft of reporting, BI, and analytics

• Provide reporting and architectural guidance, technology, and process improvement recommendations

• Apply security standards for BI reports

• Perform other duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics / Math / Computer Science / Business Information / Business Administration is required, or equivalent work experience
