ByVerTek is seeking a detail-oriented IT Technician to support both construction operations and technology systems. This role is responsible for maintaining technology resources, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting network connectivity, and managing project data within our construction/project management platform - Vitruvi. The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude with strong organizational skills and an understanding of construction project workflows.

What You'll Do:
- Provide basic hardware, software, and network troubleshooting support for field and office personnel.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, mobile devices, printers, and related equipment.
- Assist users with technical issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Upload and manage project designs and documentation within the Vitruvi platform.
- Perform accurate data entry and data maintenance in Vitruvi.
- Ensure project information is current, complete, and properly organized.
- Support construction teams with technology-related requests and system access.
- Coordinate with project managers and field staff to maintain accurate project records.
- Monitor and track technology assets and equipment inventory.
- Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and project-related technology processes., This role will require a combination of office and field support, working closely with construction crews, project managers, and administrative staff to ensure technology and project data systems operate efficiently. The position is on site in our Mesa, Arizona office. From time-to-time, this IT Support Technician will visit our construction sites local to the Mesa, Arizona office. This position will be supported by our corporate IT team located in Florida.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Relevant technical certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications, or equivalent).
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and networking concepts.
- Experience with data entry and database management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in construction, utility, telecommunications, or related industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with Vitruvi or similar construction/project management software is preferred.
Preferred:
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Understanding of construction project documentation and workflows
- Basic knowledge of network connectivity and troubleshooting
- Ability to learn new software applications quickly
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
