Sr. Application Engineer

Develop ATE test programs in Java for digital semiconductor devices on the V93000 / 93K platform.

Support customers with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving SmarTest software issues.

Develop scripts and tools using Perl, Python, or similar languages to improve customer process quality, efficiency, and time to market.

Train customers on new software and hardware solutions.

Gather customer requirements and collaborate with R&D and external teams to support the development of next-generation test solutions.

Communicate technical solutions, product capabilities, and roadmap strategy to customers.

Support pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, benchmark projects, requirements analysis, and competitive positioning.

Assist with the rollout of new hardware and software products at customer sites.

Travel

Approximately 5% travel to customer and internal sites.

Strong communication skills, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external customers are essential., Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Experience in the semiconductor industry or a related technical environment.

Strong Java programming skills.

Hands-on experience with semiconductor ATE systems, preferably V93000 / 93K.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex software and test issues.

Proven ability to manage technical projects and customer requirements.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

Proactive, self-disciplined, and highly motivated.

Experience supporting pre-sales or customer-facing technical activities.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of semiconductor ATE test development experience.

Understanding of VLSI concepts and semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Strong scripting experience with Perl, Python, or similar languages.

C/C++ programming experience.

Experience using AI tools, such as Claude, to improve engineering workflows, documentation, or productivity.
