Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
  • Two years of experience in web design, user interface design or interaction design
  • Solid level experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and graphic design
  • Ability to write source code for HTML and CSS for cross-browser developing
  • Minimal comprehension of usability principles and responsive web design
  • The familiarity of code frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Foundation)
  • Basic understanding of content management systems (e.g. TeamSite, Drupal, WordPress, Liferay)
  • Sound communication and problem-solving/analytical skills
  • Ability to work alone and as a member of a team
  • Solid attention to detail and task-oriented
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Sketch
  • Basic level experience writing JavaScript and jQuery
  • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • The familiarity of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0)
  • Practical understanding of general marketing principles and online marketing strategies
  • Solid understanding of information architecture and user-centered design
  • The familiarity of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) guidelines
  • Experience with GIT and SVN versioning management
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
