Job description

  • Leads application support efforts on multiple platforms.
  • Acts as primary contact for administrative support and production issue analysis & resolution.
  • Develop PL/SQL and SQL scripts to facilitate investigations of data issues during application troubleshooting.
  • Tracks application and batch performance and develops plans for remediation of issues.
  • Ensure PAC2000 tickets meet established SLAs.
  • Analyze log files and collaborate with the vendor in the analysis of log files.
  • Ensure application monitoring meets best practices.
  • Execute BCP plan for application; coordinate logistics for plan implementation.
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas.
  • This is a hands-on role with primary focus on support and analysis of complex business functionality.
  • Represents development team on defect remediation discussions.
  • Participates in code walkthrough.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of UNIX experience
  • 5+ years of Oracle experience
  • 5 + years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
  • 3+ years of OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical environments: management and production release coordination
  • Knowledge and understanding of source code version control systems, configuration management techniques and procedures, * 5 years of application infrastructure and operations support experience.
  • 5 years demonstrated knowledge of Datamart concepts and architecture.
  • 2 years demonstrated experience with access control technologies including BoKS, LDAP, database authentication.
  • 2 years familiarity with: Autosys script coding; NDM file transmission automation; and tools experience such as TOAD or SQL Developer.
  • 1 year experience with automated deployments
  • Wells Fargo development or Wells Fargo OBIEE administration experience
