Job description
This role manages the integration and optimization of the accounting technology ecosystem across a diversified, multi-entity platform. The successful candidate sits at the intersection of accounting operations and enterprise technology - ensuring systems are well-integrated and internal controls are properly maintained., * Serve as primary system administrator for ERP systems including Sage Intacct for the General Ledger and multiple integrated platforms including A/P, banking, expense management, month end close, fixed assets, budgeting, and others.
- Manage the migration and implementation of a new instance of the existing accounting system overseeing third-party consultants, performing data validation, coordinating the involvement of the Company's accounting personnel, and resolving issues within a defined timeframe.
- In conjunction with enterprise security, manage system configurations, user access controls, and segregation of duties enforcement.
- Onboard new entities.
- Maintain API integrations between financial systems.
- Manage ETL/ELT pipelines to load financial and operational data into centralized data repositories.
- Administer a financial data lake or data warehouse.
- Partner with IT team to establish data governance standards, master data management practices, and schema versioning protocols.
- Integration scripts in Python, SQL, or PowerShell to automate data flows and reduce manual intervention.
- Maintain documentation for integrations, data flows, and system configurations

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience specifically in accounting systems or financial data engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Information Systems
- Experience with Sage Intacct or another similar ERP system
- Experience with API connections between enterprise financial systems
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and reporting across relational databases
- Experience working in a centralized analytical data repository
- Proficiency in at least one BI/visualization platform
- Understanding of financial reporting and foundational accounting principles, * Bachelor's (Required)
