Job description

Because video and web technologies are quickly evolving and because we want to offer a constantly improving platform we are currently looking for a m/f Web Development Engineer.

Your tasks

You will design, develop and maintain our webcasting software tool:

  • architecture and planning of new features and releases
  • coding of the infrastructure (based on functional & technical briefs)
  • coding of new functionalities (based on functional & technical briefs)
  • coding of APIs
  • testing on all browsers and implementation of the upgrades to all existing accounts
  • regular handling and maintenance of databases and servers

As web development engineer, you will be part of our R&D department and, based on marketing & commercial department requests, you will perform technical analysis & tests to suggest the best way to implement new features.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology or similar experience

  • Advanced knowledge of PHP (Zend and/or Symphony framework), MySQL, HTML5, CSS

  • Knowledge of webservices is a must

  • Knowledge of Linux server maintenance (Debian) is a plus

  • Previous experience of Video management tools is a plus

  • You are a true team player. You can rely on strong analytical skills and are a quick learner.

  • You are able to communicate fluently in Dutch and/or French + English.
