Job description

We are recruiting for an important IT company based in Tenerife. Our client is looking for a highly proactive database and BI focused developer, with skills in SQL databases, database administration, data migrations and developing of BI solutions., The role will involve the following:

  • Design, implementation and maintenance of data migration processes
  • Installation, configuration and management of SQL Server
  • Work with maintenance plans, Backups, Restore and Disaster Recovery Drills
  • Analysis and optimization of queries, performance, indexes and execution plans
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting

Requirements

If you have a Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent and at least 3 years working as administrator of MS SQL Server, we are looking for you!, Good written and verbal English communication skills. Spanish and/or German will be a plus.

  • Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years working as administrator of MS SQL Server
  • Dynamism to learn and apply new technologies
  • Experience with SQL server on Azure
  • Experience with Data Solutions and ETL processes in Azure
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
  • MS SQL Server Integration Services
  • MS SQL Server Reporting Services
  • MS SQL Server Analysis Services
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting
