EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW Here in Developer Services we're looking for a new Pump Service Centre Team Leader. This is a key role within the Pump Service Centre , playing a vital part in maintaining high workshop standards and ensuring the effective delivery of repair and replacement services for our internal customers. It also leads by example in driving strong health and safety behaviours across all activities. The role also provides day-to-day onsite management of workshop technicians, overseeing all repair work while acting as a key point of contact for customers on technical queries and incoming job requests. It also involves managing supplier performance against SLAs, building strong relationships, and continuously improving service delivery standards. Some Key Accountabilities include:-

  • Driving the workshop to meet SLAs for repairs and replacements for our internal customers

  • Ensuring a right first-time approach to repairs, collaborating with internal customers to ensure efficiency of assets

  • To maintain the highest standards in the PSC, paying close attention to HSSW within the workshop and improving standards across the team.

  • Effectively manage our supplier performance, working closely with category managers & GC colleagues to drive improvements in data, performance and service levels

  • Managing key internal stakeholders

  • Driving customer service excellence, robust SLAs that drive performance improvements and meeting them regularly to understand current and new requirements

  • To drive innovation and continuous improvement to ensure we achieve our goal to become a recognised industry leader, including the use of SBF.

  • Lead role to deliver specific business objectives across the PSC.

  • Ensuring the correct and optimised use of systems and technology to drive efficiency and enable good financial controls and process compliance

  • Helping to set the PSC strategy including leading the delivery of local and strategic improvement projects.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you will have strong operational knowledge, including experience of pumps and other assets, with the ability to diagnose issues and carry out repairs effectively. You will also be confident using IT systems such as SAP, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. You will be comfortable working under pressure to meet targets, with good numerical and financial awareness to support decision-making. A strong analytical mindset is essential, along with the ability to solve complex problems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also key, enabling you to influence customers, stakeholders and suppliers effectively.
