Job description
Each day, you'll lead the creation of precise engineering documents, ensuring they meet strict industry codes and client expectations while collaborating across disciplines to deliver innovative, safe solutions. Balancing technical expertise with client engagement, you'll drive projects forward, manage schedules, and build strong relationships, all while shaping the future of the nuclear industry.
- Engineering Excellence & Compliance: Prepare error-free engineering documents adhering to industry codes, standards, and client requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes, safety standards, and nuclear design techniques
- Quality & Deliverable Management: Produce high-quality engineering deliverables aligned with client expectations and project scopes. Conduct peer and technical reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Client Engagement & Collaboration: Build strong client relationships through professional communication and quality deliverables. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure design compatibility and meet all project requirements
- Project Oversight & Leadership: Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery. Serve as Responsible Engineer (RE) or Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE) to lead project success #LI-MB1
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

Minimum of 3 years of critical facilities, or power design experience for mid-level

Critical Facilities HVAC systems including:
-
Datacenter and/or Telecommunications project design, including understanding Reliability, Redundancy, Diversity in systems designs

Chilled Water systems

Pumping systems

Piping systems
-
Cooling towers
-
Air Handling systems
-
Refrigerant systems (DX Air Handlers)

Fan systems and ductwork

Raised Floor, Overhead and In Row cooling systems

Developing Project Specifications
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
AutoCAD in an engineering setting is required
Professional Engineer preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
