Job description

The Software Engineer, Platform is responsible for designing and maintaining backend services critical to the organization''s products, such as payments, analytics, subscriptions, and text-to-speech functionality. This role contributes to building scalable and performant APIs that support both internal needs and enterprise client integrations, directly impacting product experience and business operations.

  1. Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs including public and internal services

  • Ensure APIs meet business and scalability requirements

  • Manage backend API performance and maintainability

  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise customization and integration

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy

Requirements

  • Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform; knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

  • Ability to prioritize and implement tasks efficiently based on urgency and impact

  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments

  • Preferred proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes

Benefits & conditions

  1. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
  • United States Based Salary range: 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock options, depending on experience
