Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized OSB Telecom Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex telecommunications projects within our enterprise infrastructure. This role is pivotal in driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of telecom initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed project requirements, define scope, and establish clear deliverables aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and SharePoint, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure quality delivery of services and solutions such as AWS cloud computing and IT infrastructure components.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), review test cases, and coordinate release management activities to ensure seamless deployment of telecom solutions.
  • Monitor project progress through metrics like TFS (Team Foundation Server), VersionOne, Jira, and Project management software; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance standards, disaster recovery plans, and organizational policies while maintaining rigorous documentation of all project activities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Telecommunications systems?, * Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise software projects within telecommunications or IT infrastructure environments.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK, SDLC, Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, and Kanban frameworks.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS along with enterprise software systems such as Oracle databases and SQL Server.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements effectively through analysis skills and stakeholder engagement; adept at requirements documentation.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to coordinate multiple teams while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills for clear articulation of project goals, risks, and progress to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of IT governance practices, disaster recovery strategies, release management processes, and IT compliance standards.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum Master certification or equivalent are highly desirable.
