Job description
DevOps Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software releases across environments. The role ensures smooth, timely, and high-quality delivery of applications by managing CI/CD pipelines, release schedules, and cross-functional collaboration.
They act as the bridge between development, QA, and operations teams to deliver stable and efficient deployments with minimal risk., Release Planning & Coordination
- Plan and manage end-to-end release lifecycle including build, test, and deployment
- Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams for release readiness
- Define release schedules, milestones, and dependencies across projects
CI/CD & Automation
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery
- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment practices are followed
- Automate build, packaging, and deployment processes, * Perform and monitor deployments across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
- Lead Go-Live activities and ensure successful production releases
- Validate release readiness, deployment success, and rollback strategies
Requirements
- Strong experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, branching strategies)
- Experience in build & release management processes
Process & Methodology
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, and SDLC
- Experience in release governance and change management
- Knowledge of incident, problem, and risk management frameworks
Mandatory Skills: Azure DevOps .
Experience: 5-8 Years .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
