Job description
Would you like to participate in the development of a digital document management system and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our applications? To strengthen our highly motivated team, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) who will digitize and automate all important document processes with DocuWare and ensure efficient process control. Working within agile software development processes and cross-functional teams, you will be fully involved in the development process., * You create, enhance and maintain automated tests (frontend & backend) using modern tools and test infrastructures, carrying out manual tests and are responsible for the evaluation and documentation of test results.
- You design the test strategy and implement quality requirements across the entire testing process.
- You determine and monitor the quality and performance indicators for our applications.
- You troubleshoot issues across client and server systems as well as virtualized test environments, identify root causes and ensure reliable, reproducible test execution.
- You review tests and train the team in topics around automated testing.
- To sum it up, you'll act as a quality gate for our application changes.
Requirements
Do you have experience in xUnit?, * You already have professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) and a solid knowledge of test automation frameworks, both frontend (e.g. Playwright) and backend (e.g. xUnit)
- You bring strong troubleshooting and analytical skills and feel at home on both client and server systems.
- You have hands-on experience working with virtual machines (e.g. Hyper-V, VMware) to set up, isolate and reproduce test scenarios.
- You confidently use modern AI tools to accelerate your daily work - from test case design and exploration to debugging and documentation.
- You are already familiar with Azure DevOps and cloud providers, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Your test cases are rock solid and can easily be integrated into test suites which then can be automated. You are also familiar with test designs, test processes and tools.
- You already have ISTQB or comparable certifications? Ideal!
- Teamwork is very important to you, and you have a very independent and solution-oriented way of working.
- You communicate fluently in spoken and written English and have a good knowledge of German.
