This is a hands-on, consultative role for an experienced security professional who combines technical knowledge with the ability to engage, challenge and guide customers, from initial discovery to final sales closure. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to analyse security posture, identify risk, and design practical, commercially viable remediation strategies.
You will operate in a small team with a lot of autonomy and support, to create and design solutions, roadmaps and assessments that will be delivered by the technical team.

What are some of the key tasks a Security Solutions Specialist is responsible for?
Customer advisory & solutions development
- Engage with customers to assess current security posture, identify vulnerabilities, gaps and risk exposure, and provide clear, prioritised recommendations for remediation
- Lead and support security assessments, workshops and technical consultations
- Translate security challenges into structured, actionable roadmaps and solution strategies
Security Practice growth
- Contribute to the development and growth of the Cybit Security Practice, shaping the security proposition and go-to-market approach, and identifying opportunities
- Stay up to date with emerging threats, technologies and regulations to provide informed guidance on customer risk and governance
Vendor & Technology engagement
- Build strong relationships with strategic security vendors and partners to develop solution offerings and joint go-to-market initiatives
- Ensure Cybit's portfolio remains relevant, differentiated and scalable
Cross-functional collaboration:
- Collaborate across technical, operational and sales teams to ensure aligned solutions, smooth delivery and clear visibility of commercial opportunities
Sales enablement & opportunity development
- Work with the Sales team to identify, develop and progress opportunities with both new and existing customers
- Provide technical validation and credibility throughout the sales cycle
Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, * Experience supporting sales activity and working closely with customers
- Commercial experience in a security vendor, managed services provider, or technology solutions environment
- Proven experience working with SMB through to corporate/enterprise organisations
- Hands-on experience across multiple security domains (e.g. network security, endpoint, identity, vulnerability management, threat detection, etc.)
- Experience delivering security assessments, gap analysis and remediation planning
Skills & capabilities
- Technical understanding and willingness to develop further through training
- Strong documentation and writing skills, ability to produce clear, professional content at a high level.
- Ability to combine technical depth with commercial awareness and customer engagement
- Strong ability to analyse and articulate security risk in a business context
- Confident communicator - able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to support and influence sales outcomes
- Strong collaboration skills across technical, operational and leadership teams
- Microsoft & Networking Experience and understanding.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with key security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
- Experience working with leading security vendors and platforms
- Exposure to compliance and governance requirements across different industries
