Software Engineer, Frontend & UX

As a Front End Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interfaces for the DLX web application, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the front-end code. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web development concepts and technologies, ideally with experience in Vue.js framework.

We are looking for engineers that are capable of learning new technologies and business domains quickly, able to work with little supervision and able to adapt to a fast moving organisational and technological environment, sometimes wearing many hats. We expect our engineers to write clean, effective code and have a principled and pragmatic approach to software engineering.

At Oneiro you will work autonomously, and freely raise ideas and issues in an open and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces for web applications using Vue.js
• Work closely with backend engineers and the broader team to develop and implement new features
• Write clean, reusable and efficient code following best practices and standards
• Optimise web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Participate in code reviews and the improvement of our coding standards
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Do you have experience in UX?, Do you have a Master's degree?, If you're a self-starter, passionate about web development, and excited about working for an innovative fintech using cutting-edge technologies to revolutionise syndicated loan administration (a multi-trillion dollar market), we would love to hear from you!, * Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

• Ideally 2-5 years of experience in Front End Development
• Strong experience with Vue.js framework (or other reactive javascript library)
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Ideally ES6+
• Knowledge of RESTful API's or GraphQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirables

• Experience in UI/UX design
• Experience working with Typescript
• Experience with testing frameworks - we currently use Playwright
• Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies
• Fintech or Banking experience, especially corporate or investment banking
