Job description

  • Act as the key contact for SAP FI/CO topics within Finance & Controlling.
  • Analyze, optimize, and continuously improve finance and accounting processes across international entities.
  • Serve as the interface between Finance and IT, translating business requirements into system solutions.
  • Support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure efficient system-supported processes.
  • Drive system enhancements, perform testing and troubleshooting, and support the implementation of new solutions.
  • Contribute to local and international SAP projects and transformation initiatives.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, reports, and process guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to promote process harmonization, automation, data quality, and compliance with internal control requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, relevant vocational training combined with professional experience.
  • Several years of experience as an SAP Key User in the FI/CO environment.
  • Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO, ideally within SAP ECC 6.0.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting processes and related system landscapes.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a high affinity for processes and systems.
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
  • Knowledge of governance, internal controls, and finance-related compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Fluent English skills; German is a plus.
