Job description
Stafford Gray is seeking a Salesforce Integration Engineer for a contract engagement supporting the State of Michigan. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems used across state agencies. This is a hybrid role based in Lansing, MI., * Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems (APIs, middleware, ETL pipelines)
- Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flow, and Lightning components
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data sync issues, and system conflicts
- Document integration architecture, data flows, and technical specifications
- Support testing, UAT, and deployment activities across environments
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Demonstrated experience building integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems
- Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, Apex, and Salesforce Flow
- Experience with middleware or integration platforms
- Active Salesforce certification
- Ability to work on-site in Lansing, MI on a hybrid schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with state or local government systems
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or Integration Architecture Designer certification
- Familiarity with Michigan state agency systems or legacy platforms
