Job description

Conduct server diagnostics, troubleshooting, and perform or assist with the repair process as needed., * Repair or replace server components as required.

  • Utilize various tools and testing equipment to diagnose and repair servers.
  • Disassemble and reassemble units in accordance with applicable work instructions.
  • Order correct replacement parts following established procedures.
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and comply with work instructions and process flows.
  • Inspect products to verify proper labeling.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Accurately enter repair data into the QMS shop floor system.
  • Document and communicate repair concerns to the engineering team.
  • Collect and analyze data to support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts.
  • Meet daily and weekly production output targets.
  • Follow both written and verbal work instructions.
  • Use hand tools and equipment to transport products between work areas.
  • Perform quality inspections to confirm products meet required specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Server hardware support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Six (6) months to one (1) year technical repair experience in a related field required.

  • Six (6) months to one (1) year experience in debugging and testing of electromechanical assemblies required.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Able to identify potential quality related problems quickly and concisely.
  • Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet.
  • Work as part of the team and collaborate with co-workers and colleagues.
  • Responsible for reading, understanding and following all Work Instructions (WI's) for each function performed.
  • Ability to recognize defects or flaws in routine parts and/or products.
  • Basic math skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good visual color perception.
  • Able to stand, stoop and bend.
  • Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
