Job description
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Tier 2 MSP Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for handling escalated support requests, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and maintaining client environments across a variety of platforms. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth, thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment, and enjoys working directly with clients to deliver exceptional service., * Provide advanced Tier 2 technical support for client environments
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across workstations, servers, and networks
- Support and maintain Microsoft environments including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Manage networking components including firewalls, VPNs, switching, DNS, and DHCP
- Perform system updates, patching, and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with Tier 1 technicians to resolve escalated issues and provide mentorship
- Document work thoroughly in the ticketing system and maintain accurate client records
- Assist with onboarding, infrastructure upgrades, and IT projects
- Follow security best practices and help ensure client environments remain compliant and secure
- Deliver clear and professional communication to clients and internal teams
- Must live in or commute to Denver, CO and surrounding cities
Requirements
Do you have experience in Customer communication?, * 3-5+ years of IT support experience, preferably in an MSP environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows and Windows Server
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Knowledge of core networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V
- Exposure to Azure or AWS is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Experience with MSP tools including RMM, PSA, and ticketing systems preferred
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and practices preferred
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions preferred
- CMMC, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI experience preferred
