Job description
- Lead large-scale, complex engineering initiatives with enterprise-wide impact
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services
- Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Establish and promote engineering standards and best practices
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, production-ready deliverables
- Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges
- Drive innovation through adoption of new technologies and AI-enabled development tools
- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership within Agile teams
- Contribute to solution design for cloud-native and distributed systems
Requirements

- Demonstrated software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on software development experience with Java
- Experience designing, building, and supporting APIs and microservices
- Experience working with AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, agents)
- Experience building RESTful services using Spring Boot
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization (Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub-based workflows
- Proficiency with modern development tools (e.g., Visual Studio Code)
- Experience supporting trading systems, market data, or FIX-based platforms
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
- Experience with code quality tools and secure coding practices (e.g., SonarQube)
