Job description
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs, including diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health screenings.
- Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on mental health issues, addiction recovery, gender issues, trauma (including PTSD), developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and crisis intervention.
- Collect and document medical records accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
- Manage case coordination by tracking patient progress, updating treatment documentation, and facilitating referrals for additional services or specialized care.
- Engage in crisis management and conflict resolution to support patients experiencing acute distress or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective case management.

- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and electronic health record systems compliant with HIPAA.
- Skilled in conducting patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and applying evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy or applied behavior analysis.
- Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders, and those requiring special education or gender-related counseling.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, conflict management strategies, and trauma-informed care approaches, including PTSD care.
