Job description

As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients effectively prepare for, proactively mitigate, and detect and respond to cyber security threats. Security Consultants have an understanding of computer science, operating system functionality and networking, cloud services, corporate network environments and how to apply this knowledge to cyber security threats.

As a Security Consultant, you could work on engagements including assisting clients in navigating technically complex and high-profile incidents, performing forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. You may also test client networks, applications and devices by emulating the latest techniques to help them defend against threats, and will be the technical advocate for information security requirements and provide an in-depth understanding of the information security domain. You will also articulate and present complex concepts to business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical contributors and successfully lead complex engagements alongside cross functional teams.

As a Mandiant Strategic Security Consultant, you will serve clients ranging from start-ups seeking to strengthen their security teams to Fortune 100 companies that need fresh ideas to enhance their perspective on the security program.

You will manage a team of Consultants dedicated to building deep, trusted advisor relationships with a select portfolio of clients, guiding them through their long-term cyber security maturity journey. You will also be a primary point of contact into Mandiant Consulting for a select group of clients. You will take ownership of the full life-cycle of multi-functional engagements, co-ordinating the development, positioning, and co-delivery of consulting projects that leverage the complete breadth of global services to provide a unified and cohesive experience for these clients.Part of Google Cloud, Mandiant is a recognized leader in dynamic cyber defense, threat intelligence and incident response services.   • Build a trusted advisor to clients, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Design, position, and co-deliver security consulting projects that leverage the complete breadth of Mandiant's security services portfolio to provide a unified and cohesive experience for clients, while developing proposals, presentations and other documents for projects.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate the full delivery life-cycle of multi-functional security consulting engagements, in close collaboration with the SME teams and the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across Mandiant and the GCP organization.

Requirements

Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
  • 8 years of experience in customer-facing security consulting.
  • Experience in one of the following information security domains: security strategy, incident response, security operations, detection engineering, threat intelligence, cloud security, enterprise architecture, or AI security.
  • Experience in people management or mentoring., * Experience implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and cloud security for clients' cloud security frameworks using industry standards.
  • Experience with cloud governance, with the ability to convey governance principles to cloud computing in terms of policies.
  • Experience working for enterprise organisations, government departments, military or intelligence services The ability to obtain security clearance from a national authority
  • Strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including prominent state/criminal threat actors and cyber attacks.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.

Benefits & conditions

Germany: €144000 - €148000 (EUR) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

France: €130000 - €134000 (EUR) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Netherlands: €142000 - €146000 (EUR) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
