Job description

The IT Asset & Build Manager oversees the full lifecycle of IT assets, endpoint build services, and inventory management. The role ensures assets are deployed, tracked, and maintained efficiently, compliantly, and in an audit-ready state, while driving process improvements, data accuracy, and high service quality., * Oversee and maintain a centralised, accurate IT asset management system, ensuring full lifecycle visibility from procurement to disposal

  • Lead endpoint build and deployment services, driving standardisation, automation, and performance optimisation
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining an audit-ready environment with strong governance and documentation
  • Provide reporting and insights on asset usage, build performance, and operational efficiency to support decision-making and financial planning
  • Manage stock and inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking, control, and availability
  • Deliver technical leadership, acting as an escalation point for complex issues across assets, builds, and deployments
  • Drive continuous improvement across tooling, processes, and service delivery to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead staff to promote quality, accountability, and ongoing development

Requirements

Do you have experience in SCCM?, Essential skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and asset lifecycle processes
  • Experience with endpoint build tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, Autopilot or similar)
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, Cyber Essentials, ISO)
  • Experience managing inventory and stock control processes
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership experience within technical or operational teams
  • Ability to balance technical expertise with business priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and governance
  • Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactive and solution-focused
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
