Job description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Coordinator to support our growing IT and Infrastructure team. This position plays a critical role in managing IT equipment, inventory tracking, employee onboarding/offboarding processes, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment, enjoys managing processes, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and accountability.
This role is designed to support the day-to-day operational needs of IT, allowing senior IT leadership to focus on infrastructure strategy, security, and systems development.
Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Lifecycle Management
- Prepare and deploy laptops and IT equipment for new and existing employees
- Maintain accurate device assignment and ownership records
- Manage equipment returns and redeployment for terminated employees
- Follow standardized laptop build and setup procedures
- Coordinate hardware repairs and replacements
IT Inventory & Asset Tracking
- Maintain inventory records for laptops, hotspots, aircards, and IT peripherals
- Reconcile equipment records against vendor invoices
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy
- Identify and report missing equipment or inventory discrepancies
User Onboarding & Offboarding Support
- Prepare equipment and system access for new hires
- Coordinate shipment and delivery of equipment to remote and onsite employees
- Track and recover equipment during employee separations
- Ensure returned devices are reset, documented, and prepared for reuse
Documentation & Process Management
- Maintain IT operational procedures and documentation
- Document workflows and standard operating procedures
- Assist with process improvement initiatives
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Provide weekly reports on equipment deployments and returns
- Maintain inventory dashboards and tracking reports
- Monitor and communicate risks related to aging or missing equipment
Great Plains Accounting Support
- Assist with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and HR-related administrative functions as needed
- Support operational activities involving Great Plains accounting software
Requirements
Do you have experience in SharePoint?, * Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, IT coordination, asset management, or related administrative roles
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Experience managing equipment tracking systems and maintaining accurate records
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience with Great Plains accounting software preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting distributed or multi-location workforces
- Experience with IT asset lifecycle management
- Previous experience working with accounting, payroll, or HR systems

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
