Job description
As a Marketing Analytics Developer at Talbots, you'll have the opportunity to be a key partner cross functionally with several teams, working on a variety of business-critical projects and initiatives.
The impact you can have
- Own, manage, and optimize the analytics architecture between Tealium tag manager, the data layer, and Adobe target.
- Lead the end-to-end integration support between Adobe Analytics and 3rd party vendors, including gathering requirements, solutioning, code development, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
- Recommend upgrades, test and manage Adobe Extensions.
- Implement, update, and maintain 3rd party pixels such as Google, Facebook, Meta, etc.
- Manage and optimize the tagging architecture for real-time analytics tool, Quantum Metrics.
- Collaborate with cross department stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and implement code to support key business needs.
- Collaborate with data analysts and other teams to interpret data and identify areas for optimization to capture relevant customer engagements and activities.
- Provide QA support to IT and Analytics teams to ensure 3rd part tag stability after releases.
- Lead the communication and solutioning efforts between IT and Analytics/Business teams.
- Support cross department analytics projects including data feeds, 3rd party analytics integrations, new pixel installs, analytics tags, and ad hoc troubleshooting.
- Support ad hoc initiatives including DNS and SSL certificates, QR codes, CCPA, etc.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve ad hoc issues related to tracking and reporting.
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree preferred
- 7+ years' experience working in an enterprise environment on analytics development
- A versatile generalist who enjoys digging in and solving technical problems
- A self-starter who is comfortable working with autonomy and collaborating with a team
- A strong communication and solution-driven mindset
- Deep knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of Browser Dev Tools, Browser Extensions, JAVA, and web best practices
- Basic Knowledge of XML, JSON, AJAX, CSV feeds, DNS, and SSL Certificates
- Experience with web monitoring tools
- Salesforce and Tealium experience is a plus but not required, Applicants to this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship. We are not providing sponsorship for this position.

The target salary range for this role is: $100,000 - $130,000

Hybrid or Remote: Ideally, this position will work in a hybrid model, with required days worked in the Talbots office in Hingham, MA as defined by business needs. We are also open to remote candidates as well. Occasional travel to a company office may be required.
