Our client is seeking a Software Engineer I, to support the end-to-end integration and testing of hardware modules into tactical combat vehicle systems-working hands-on in both software labs and on real-world hardware. Requirements
- US Citizenship
- Our client requires that candidates must have ability to obtain a DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL), for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor of Science degree in STEM discipline with Relevant internship experience
- Programming experience in one of the following: C, C#, C++, or Python
- Understanding and applying modern software development and systems engineering practices and principles
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Nice to Have Skills: Software Engineer I - Hardware/Software Integration & Real-Time Testing
- Knowledge of basic circuitry and EE principles
- Experience with software development environments, version control, and issue tracking tools
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with real-time embedded operating systems
- Familiarity with multiple protocols, such as J1939, CAN, Ethernet, Serial
- Hands-on troubleshooting using test equipment and analysis tools (e.g., CAN/Ethernet analysis, data acquisition systems)
Preferred Education and Experience: Software Engineer I - Hardware/Software Integration & Real-Time Testing
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with approximately 1 year of relevant experience
