Principal Cloud Software Engineer [$315k/year] TS/SCI FS-Poly

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w. Full Scope Polygraph to be considered for this position.

SYSTOLIC needs software engineers who are experienced with cloud migration and AWS for numerous contract positions.

Key skill areas:

• AWS Cloud Expertise: Deep experience with AWS services, infrastructure, and architecture is essential, including hands-on experience with large-scale cloud systems, application rehosting, and cloud-native re-architecting. AWS Solutions Architect certification is a plus.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform for managing AWS infrastructure.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes is desired.
• CI/CD and DevOps: Practical knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Programming and Scripting: Strong programming skills using Python and Java
• Security and Compliance: Understanding of System Security Plans (SSP), accreditation processes, and cost optimization in a cloud environment.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with government customers and multiple stakeholders on planning, architecture, design, and implementation.

Compensation varies per contract position. Yearly compensation (1880 hours billed) for candidates with this skillset and a technical Bachelor's degree and 20 years of software engineering experience can range from $315k to $332k.
