Logic LC is seeking a Technical Field Support Coordinator II professional to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and industrial security, access control, CCTV, alarm, and low-voltage infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, technically minded, and comfortable supporting both internal teams and field technicians. The right candidate will not only help keep projects on track but will also have the technical ability to assist with troubleshooting, communicate clearly with technicians and clients, and help resolve issues that may arise during installations, service calls, testing, and project completion. ***A background in installing low-voltage systems, security cameras, and access control hardware is highly preferred. Certifications are a plus but are not required., * Coordinate and maintain project documentation, ensuring information is accurate, organized, and accessible to internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Track project timelines, milestones, budgets, costs, materials, and deliverables to help ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
- Coordinate technicians, equipment, materials, and project-related needs to support successful project execution.
- Provide direct support to field technicians during installations, service calls, testing, troubleshooting, and project completion.
- Assist with remote technical troubleshooting when needed, including helping technicians and clients work through access control, CCTV, alarm, and low-voltage system-related issues.
- Communicate with clients, technicians, project managers, sales, operations, and leadership to help resolve technical or logistical challenges.
- Prepare project status updates, progress reports, communication summaries, and internal updates as needed.
- Help ensure timely completion of project phases, deliverables, closeout items, and customer handoffs.
- Assist with customer system training, documentation, and project transition when needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, communication, and overall project workflow.
- Support a professional, organized, and solutions-focused experience for both internal teams and customers.
Requirements
- Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or higher in Project Management, Business, Construction, Information Technology, Electronics, Low-Voltage Systems, or a related field preferred.
Certifications Certifications Certifications are not required, but the following are considered a plus:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- CAPM
- PMP
- Low-voltage, security, access control, CCTV, alarm, or related technical certifications
- Any additional project management, safety, or technical training
- Candidates without certifications will still be considered if they have strong technical ability, project coordination experience, and the ability to support field teams effectively.
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, technical project support, or field service operations.
- Strong grasp of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting installation or service teams in a technical environment is a plus.
- Advanced multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of interfacing confidently with clients, technicians, and leadership.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve project-related challenges independently or collaboratively.
