Job description

We are seeking an experienced Airport Security Systems Administrator to support and manage an enterprise Access Control System (ACS) powered by Honeywell ProWatch. This mission-critical role ensures the reliability, security, and continuous availability of access control systems that support operations, public safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency response., * Administer, configure, and support the Honeywell ProWatch Access Control System

  • Monitor system performance, health, and availability to meet high uptime requirements
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for access control incidents and escalated issues
  • Manage access provisioning, badge credentials, user roles, schedules, access levels, and zones
  • Support integrations with identity management, CCTV, alarm systems, and other security platforms
  • Perform routine maintenance, software updates, patches, and configuration changes
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues involving controllers, panels, readers, and servers
  • Coordinate with security teams, facilities, vendors, and system integrators
  • Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and audit records
  • Support compliance audits, regulatory requirements, and investigations
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical writing within technology?, * 5-7 years of experience administering enterprise access control or physical security systems

  • Hands-on experience with Honeywell ProWatch or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of access control concepts (credentials, access levels, schedules, zones, policies)
  • Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability environments
  • Knowledge of Windows Server environments, databases, and network connectivity
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across integrated security systems and hardware components
  • Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills, * Honeywell ProWatch Certification
  • Physical Security Professional (PSP) or related certifications
  • Experience in regulated environments such as airports, transportation, or government
  • Familiarity with CCTV, video management systems, alarm monitoring, and identity management integrations, * Honeywell ProWatch administration
  • Access control and physical security systems
