The M365 Senior Administrator is responsible for the design, delivery, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Microsoft 365 solutions across the enterprise. This position acts as a technical authority and strategic advisor, driving platform evolution, governance maturity, and modern workplace innovation. This role combines hands-on platform administration with architectural leadership, ensuring services are secure, scalable, and aligned with business strategy., * Design and implement enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid M365 solutions, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle and roadmap for M365 services, aligning platform capabilities to business and IT strategy.
- Design, implement, and operationalize M365 governance frameworks, including service provisioning, monitoring, and data protection policies.
- Serve as Tier 3 escalation lead for complex and high-impact issues, ensuring the health, performance, and availability of the M365 environment.
- Drive automation using PowerShell, Power Automate, and Microsoft tooling to build scalable solutions and reduce manual effort.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate requirements into technical solutions that improve business processes.
- Serve as a Mergers and Acquisitions lead for M365 and Modern Workplace integrations.
- Act as a technical leader and mentor to administrators and support teams.
Requirements
Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration, engineering, or architecture. Proven experience designing and implementing M365 solutions, governance models, and merger and acquisition integrations. Experience building platform roadmaps and with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Exchange Online & on-premise, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Proficiency with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and PowerShell scripting is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid and global M365 environments.
- Experience with DevOps and Azure-based delivery models.
- Experience configuring Power Platform data gateway (on-prem).
- Experience customizing SharePoint (sites, libraries, taxonomies, integrations).
- Knowledge of Office 365 service integrations and reporting capabilities.
