Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement microservices architecture with Spring Cloud for discovery, configuration, and resilience.
- Containerize and deploy applications on AWS using ECS, EKS, Lambda, or EC2.
- Implement and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Apply reactive programming paradigms for high-performance systems.
- Adopt 12-factor app principles for cloud-native development.
- Design and execute performance and load tests using JMeter or BlazeMeter.
- Explore and integrate agentic systems to enable automation or AI-driven workflows.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to leverage agent-based protocols and toolkits.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spring Boot?, We are seeking a Software Engineer, Java/J2EE to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, AWS, and containerized deployments and a proven ability to design, build, and operate cloud-native, reactive microservices at scale., * Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- AWS deployment experience and knowledge of cloud-native design.
- Hands-on with containers and AWS EKS and/or ECS, with Docker image builds.
- Experience with reactive programming.
- Messaging systems experience, preferably Kafka.
- Observability and operations skills across logging, metrics, tracing, and environment troubleshooting.
- CI/CD pipeline experience across build, test, deploy, and release practices.
- Experience level: 4+ years for grade 602 or 8+ years for grade 603.
Preferred Skills:
- Spring AOP.
- Testing tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, and Cucumber.
- Exposure to Python.
- Familiarity with agentic systems such as A2A or ADK., * Spring Boot: 4 years (Required)
- Microservices: 4 years (Required)
- Software development: 5 years (Required)
