Job Responsibilities: The IT Coordinator acts as a member of the library's management team; manages the daily affairs of the Information Technology (IT) department; oversees the maintenance and operation of the library's technology and computer equipment and related software applications across all library locations; supervises department staff; acts as the library's technology liaison with CLEVNET to resolve system technology problems; maintains the library's cybersecurity program; monitors networks and PCs for security concerns; monitors the IT Help Desk; assists and coaches staff on the use and capabilities of library equipment and software; and coordinates with maintenance/facility staff on the maintenance and management of technology equipment.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Telephone systems?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant area with proven technology expertise. The ability to push, pull, bend, and twist with ease. May require sitting or standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must pass a criminal background check.
Knowledge of: Familiarity with common computer operating systems, business systems, and network systems; proficient with computer hardware and related peripherals, along with telephones, video cameras, and other audio-visual equipment; ability to manage web site maintenance; and ability to successfully troubleshoot basic software and hardware problems.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personnel. Ability to both work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to high quality customer service as well as upholding confidentiality. Ability to effectively represent the library in the community. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
