Job description
Independently work on data science projects and deliver innovative technical solutions to solve problems and improve business outcomes
Be involved in the design and development of machine learning/statistical models and ensure best performance
Work closely with machine learning engineers to deploy models in production both in real-time and in batch process and systematically track model performance
Assist engagement with key business stakeholders in discussion on business strategies and opportunities
Requirements
Proficient in Python and SQL
Hands-on experience in database technology (Postgres, Redis, Elastic Search)
Familiarity with transformer architectures (SLM, LLM, VLM, Embedding Models)
Desired Skills
Expertise in API development and container technology (Docker, Podman)
Experience with cloud platform (Google Cloud Platform) and services (Big Query, google cloud storage, Cloud SQL, Vector Search and so on)
Working knowledge of software development tools and practices (Git, branching model, agile development, Test-driven-development)
Hands-on experience building LLM-based solutions such as retrieval augmented generation systems, chatbots, agentic ai tools, and so on.
Education: MS/ PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field
